Interview Task Force

The Fort Worth Career Search Network Interviewing Task Force is a volunteer group that assists job seekers to enhance their interviewing skills and gain confidence. See what you can expect from this experience.

Initially, the Task Force has established Interview Request Procedures for job seekers who would like to schedule practice interviews. There are also established procedures for the interviewers.

There are over a dozen Human Resource professionals currently volunteering to conduct interview for job seekers and who will provide feedback after the interview is conducted.  Those seeking assistance should check out the information on the volunteer Interviewers, and email a volunteer requesting to schedule an interview.  The email must contain telephone contact information as the volunteer will try to call the job seeker within 24 hours of receipt of the email

As an ongoing service, the Task Force provides Analysis and advice on sample interview questions. This information may be accessed under the Resources tab.

Request a Mock Interview

  1. Identify Interviewer from list
  2. Send an email with “Interview Request” as subject to Interviewer prior to preferred meeting time. 48 hours if possible. Include the following information:
    • Name
    • Phone Number
    • Email
    • 2-3 Preferred Days/Time (1 hour time slots)
    • Resume
    • Level of Position
    • Job Description
    • Target Company
  3. Interviewer will call you to confirm a meeting place, day/time, and to obtain additional information to understand your expectations of the interview.
  4. Interviewer will send a confirmation email with the Date, Time, and Location, as well as the interviewer’s contact information.
  5. Interviewee must call the interviewer 2 hours prior to the scheduled interview to confirm or cancel.
  6. Interviewee agrees to download and complete and email back the survey within 24 hours of mock interview.
